AWS Personal Health Dashboard
AWS Personal Health Dashboard has been renamed AWS Health Dashboard (the underlying service is now called AWS Health). It gives an account-specific view of AWS service health, surfacing planned events that are happening now or may happen in the near future and could impact that particular AWS account. Unlike a general AWS service health page, it is personalized to the resources actually in use, helping teams anticipate and plan around maintenance or service issues that affect them directly.
Key points
- Now called the AWS Health Dashboard, powered by the AWS Health API and available to all customers at no additional cost; no setup is required.
- Surfaces planned events that are occurring, or may occur in the near future, that could impact the specific AWS account viewing the dashboard.
- The personalized, account-specific view is now labeled “Your account health” within the AWS Health Dashboard — it lists open and recent issues, scheduled changes, other notifications, and a 90-day event log.
- The general, account-agnostic view of AWS service status is now labeled “Service health” within the same AWS Health Dashboard (this superseded the old separate AWS Service Health Dashboard); it does not require signing in.
- Complements tools such as AWS Trusted Advisor as another proactive signal for planning around maintenance and service events.
- Programmatic access via the AWS Health API requires a Business Support+, Enterprise Support, or AWS Unified Operations plan (or Business, Enterprise On-Ramp, or Enterprise Support in Regions that don’t yet offer the newer plans).
